The isolated slabs is a very interesting engineering project. Spring casings are set onto the subfloor, 500 of them in total. The casings are woven into the structural system by tying to the rebar. The box covers are protected. The entire perimeter is separated by foam and the slab is separated by plastic creating a bond break from the slab below. The slab is now poured and it will take a few weeks before we are ready for next steps. Stay tuned…
